Aging is associated with sarcopenia. The loss of strength results in decreased muscle mass and motor function. This process accelerates the progressive muscle deterioration observed in older adults, favoring the presence of debilitating pathologies. In addition, sarcopenia leads to a decrease in quality of life, significantly affecting self-sufficiency. Altogether, these results in an increase in economic resources from the National Health Systems devoted to mitigating this problem in the elderly, particularly in developed countries. Different etiological determinants are involved in the progression of the disease, including: neurological factors, endocrine alterations, as well as nutritional and lifestyle changes related to the adoption of more sedentary habits. Molecular and cellular mechanisms have not been clearly characterized, resulting in the absence of an effective treatment for sarcopenia. Nevertheless, physical activity seems to be the sole strategy to delay sarcopenia and its symptoms. The present review intends to bring together the data explaining how physical activity modulates at a molecular and cellular level all factors that predispose or favor the progression of this deteriorating pathology.  相似文献

搭建搅拌式风力致热试验台,以自制的2种致热器为研究对象,使其分别在3个不同平均角加速度24.92、14.66、8.04 rad/s2下启动。通过动态扭矩测试仪和数据采集仪测试记录致热器启动阶段的相关数据。结果表明:致热器启动时所需扭矩与角加速度的一次方、转速、叶片半径的二次方成正比,同时得出这些因素之间的关系式;满负荷时,启动扭矩会出现一个峰值,且角加速度越大峰值越大,自然风必须提供峰值以上的扭矩,否则装置无法启动。  相似文献

Abstract

This article presents a novel numerical method for steady-state thermal simulation. This method firstly solves the heat flux efficiently by applying the loop-tree basis functions. Then, the temperature is obtained by finding solutions of the gradient equation. The half boundary Rao-Wilton-Glisson (HBRWG) basis functions are employed for handling arbitrary boundary conditions. In addition, the triangulation-based interpolation technique is utilized to interpolate temperature profile with obtained results in post-processing. Three examples with mixed boundary conditions are studied to validate the accuracy of proposed method for simulating steady-state thermal problems. Numerical results show that our method has a good accuracy and is well capable of handling arbitrary boundary conditions.  相似文献

Biopolymeric networks with plasticity show great competences in diverse fields owing to the combined biocompatible and mechanical characteristics. However, to realize such plasticity external complicated treatments, e.g., UV or organic solvent have to be applied, which in turn impair the biological nature and even mechanical properties of those systems. To address this challenge, one new type of anhydrous protein liquid crystalline (LC) gels, which exhibit flexible morphological plasticity and mechanical programmability is demonstrated. Supramolecular interactions in the smectic biogels play an important role for their high plasticity. Remarkably, the samples exhibit outstanding mechanical behaviors. The tensile strength and Young's modulus at MPa levels are comparable or even higher than chemically cross-linked hydrogels and LC elastomers. More importantly, mechanical programmability of the LC gels is achieved by genetically tuning the charge density of protein backbones. Consequently, the mechanical performance is manipulated in the range of one order of magnitude. Thus, this type of anhydrous protein LC gels offers great opportunities for load-bearing high-tech applications.  相似文献

为进一步提高国产锆合金包壳管性能,提高反应堆安全性,对国产Zirlo锆合金进行水射流冲击强化,研究在高温高压水腐蚀条件下不同冲击压力对样品表面氧化膜的影响,并与未冲击样品进行对比。结果表明,样品表面在不同压力的冲击下耐蚀性差异较大,当冲击压力达到40 MPa时样品表面氧化膜状态较好,相比于未冲击样品氧化膜厚度减少4.3%,在10 MPa和20 MPa冲击下则出现腐蚀加速情况。  相似文献
